This beautiful, lightly polished Fish Hook is sized 2.5" to 3" inches in height. Adjustable Satin Nylon Cord can be adjusted by using the slip knots on either side of the necklace, allowing it to fit both children, teenagers and adults.     In Hawaiian and Polynesian cultures, the Fish Hook symbolizes strength, prosperity, abundance and a deep respect for the sea.   Hawaiians often wear necklaces that include this symbol to show reverence to the ocean.  A long time ago, they believed that a necklace that included this symbol took on a piece of the spirit of the wearer.
    Because of this, the necklace was passed down from one member of the family to another, resulting in a powerful sacred link formed between the different generations of a family.
