Description

KM 616.1, minted 1771-1786, but all dated 1771. Half dollar silver copper coin, with the king's monogram on the obverse.
Krause indicates that these were struck at Copenhagen, Altona and Kongberg Mints.  Numista indicates that these were heavily used, and that "99% of them are in poor condition.  UNCs or BU types are of greatest rarity."
