    Description

The Bestagon Monolithic Print-in-Place Helical FPV antenna is a high gain long-range antenna that is tough and built to last, made right here in the USA.
(Message me or check my other listing for other colors/polarizations/turns)
7-turn helical antenna is designed for receiving signals at 5.8GHz that offers ~11.6dBi of gain and a 3dB beamwidth of 40.9 degrees
Manufactured in the USA with a single piece 100% infill PLA/PLA+ 3d printed body, 2mm copper wire, RG-402-75 matching stub feedline, and a precision CNC'd reflector
Tested for VSWR <= 2:1 (Return Loss <= -10dB) in the 5.8GHz ISM Band
5/4 wavelength (4.53mm at 70% velocity factor) 75 Ohm RG-402-75 matching stub guarantees low VSWR at design frequency and a sensible length feedline for antenna positioning
Low-loss .141" semi-flex coax is used in the feed line of the antenna to allow positioning on the receiver or goggles simply by orienting the directional antenna toward your desired flight area for the coax to hold that position
Printed from 100% infill PLA/PLA+ plastic at settings optimized for layer adhesion and part strength in one solid piece with the reflector dropped in during a printing color change; there are no glue joints to fail during usage
The prototypes of this antenna design were drop tested and designed not to break from dropping 3 feet onto concrete (The antennas being sold have not been dropped)
Coax is soldered to both sides of double sided copper clad FR4 for increased durability on the feed line connection
