    Description

    Here we have
a scarce antique train collectible -- a four-page "booklet" dining car menu for the Canadian Pacific Railroad, dated January 7, 1924. The card stock cover features full-color images on the exterior and a pastel pink and yellow full-spread illustration of the Chateau Frontenac Hotel on the inside. The first and last paper pages feature "upscale advertising" features on The Chateau Frontenac Hotel (stating that the latest addition "was completed only in 1923") and Quebec. The inside spread is the actual dining car menu. T
his is just one of hundreds of pieces we're listing from one man's incredible lifetime collection of railroad ephemera. Please see our store for more from this collection -- we're happy to combine shipping at actual cost.
This very special scarce piece ships in a priority rate box only
, which will be packed to defy all the odds that the USPS throws at it, so that it may reach you safely, and as described in this listing.

    Condition
: Our photographs reveal the condition best and are the most important part of the description--please enlarge and zoom in on them and examine them carefully. Overall excellent antique condition. Excellent, bright, bold color, with gold "gilt" detailing and very strong contrast throughout. Card stock cover shows wear at the edges and bumped corners, which we judge minimal
    for its age.
Back has area in center that appears to be the remains of an old sticker label that was removed long ago -- nothing sticky about it now. Entire interior, including card stock and paper pages, is very clean and fresh, far better than typical for its age. Light shelf wear present, but nothing in particular to point out. Staples are rusting but booklet is holding together extremely well. No tears, holes, writing, marks, bends, stains, creases, curling, rippling, discoloration. Covers and pages lay flat. Overall solid, stable piece.
We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (
    or anything else
) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
    We're happy to
combine shipping at actual cost on all pieces
    purchased and paid for
    on one single invoice/order.
In order to take advantage of this shipping cost savings, you must, must, must combine all of your pieces into one order and pay for all of them at once.
The easiest way to do this is to place items in your cart, and then to purchase them as a group from your cart.
If you're unable to get the Ebay checkout to combine your items into one order, do not pay. Back out of that mess and shoot us a message instead, asking for a combined invoice, and then wait to pay from that.
    The Fine Print:
We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.
If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message.
We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.
Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
