    Description

    Original antique entry door escutcheon plate manufactured during the last quarter of the 1800's.  Heavy cast bronze escutcheon plate as found center still polished for a cylinder mortise lock set on an entry door.  Decorative edging with deep casting detail.  Plate measures 8" high x 2 7/8" wide.  Spacing between center of cylinder and center of door knob is 3 3/8".  In nice condition with no cracking or breakage  Minor wear around cylinder hole.
